Our Story
The cellars of Saverio Faro are modern and with a deep respect for nature and a great passion for the work carried out by the farmer members. The cellars are located on the west coast of Sicily and fully embody the commitment and dedication in the vineyards. Every year we harvest typical grapes such as Grillo and Nero d’Avola, together with more recently introduced international vines such as Syrah.

Terroir
The Saverio Faro vineyards are located in the western part of Sicily, an area renowned for the production of high quality wines. The calcareous-sandy soil, rich in minerals, and the Mediterranean climate with hot, windy summers and mild winters create an ideal environment for viticulture. Sea breezes blowing from the nearby Mediterranean Sea keep the vines healthy by reducing humidity and preventing fungal diseases. This terroir gives our wines a distinctive aromatic profile, with complex and savory notes.
